About Us

The mission of Soaring Eagle Foundation is to introduce the joy of soaring to veterans, their families, and under-represented youth of the next generation of flyers.  With our cadre of FAA Certified Instructor Pilots, we teach the basics of glider aerodynamics, soaring weather, and sailplane flying procedures.  Through our program, we provide a unique and rewarding experience for veterans, families and youth who have no prior experience with or access to flight training.  With our flight academies, we endeavor to instill an excitement for soaring, develop teamwork, provide interaction with a community of peers, and instill a desire to pursue flight training in the future.   Soaring Eagle Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit registered in the State of Colorado.
